Holy Spirit: He’s good at that!

(2 Corinthians 13:14)  The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion [koinonia] of the Holy Ghost, be with you all. Amen.
(2 Corinthians 13:14 AMP) The grace (favor and spiritual blessing) of the Lord Jesus Christ and the love of God and the presence and fellowship (the communion and sharing together, and participation) in the Holy Spirit be with you all. Amen (so be it).

The essential meaning of the koinonia embraces concepts conveyed in the English terms community, communion, joint participation, sharing and intimacy.

Koinonia is a complex, rich, and thoroughly fascinating Greek approach to building community or teamwork.

  1. the share which one has in anything, participation
  2. intercourse, fellowship, intimacy
    1. the right hand as a sign and pledge of fellowship (in fulfilling the apostolic office)
  3. a gift jointly contributed, a collection, a contribution, as exhibiting an embodiment and proof of fellowship
